"I honestly couldn’t recommend Howl School for Dogs more highly. Kerry is absolutely incredible! In just a few sessions she taught me so much about how to meet my dog’s needs. Ripley is already a much happier, more confident dog for it and I feel so great knowing that I’m doing everything I can for her. Kerry supported me to improve her diet, investigate (with the vet) potential physical triggers and understand her emotions so that I can identify and interpret her behaviours and what they’re communicating to me. Hard work and dedication has definitely been required on my end, and will continue to be, but the rewards are more than worth it. What could be better than knowing you’re providing everything your dog needs to be happy, healthy and confident? Every dog deserves to have Kerry in their lives!" - L DW

"I couldn't recommend Kerry and Howl School for Dogs any more highly. We had three sessions with her and our 8 month old puppy who can be quite reactive at times. She taught us all about the psychology of dogs and showed us great, practical methods to keep our pup relaxed and calm on walks, and also at home with our growing family. Her force free, positive reinforcement methods are exactly what we were looking for and most importantly work!" - Tom Carnegie

"I can’t say enough good things about Kerry. She genuinely loves dogs and is totally invested in giving them and their humans the right skills and tips to help even the most complex of cases. I adopted a new rescue in September. He was originally from Romania and was totally traumatised by what he had experienced over there. He had no previously been rehomed with another family but was given up after biting several times. I’m so happy to say he is like a new dog these days, he’s calm, trusting, happy and is excited to go outside for walks (which he never wanted to do at first). I’ve not finished Roscoes rehabilitation but we have literally made so much progress with Kerry’s help. She makes sure to understand the specific needs of your dog, their breed and history. Her lesson plans are detailed and thorough. I’d recommend her without a doubt." - Loretta McKenna

"Kerry has been so great with me and my rescue Billie who's struggling in the big, wide world and is reactive to dogs. When I felt I was stuck with making progress on my own, I approached Kerry to see if she can help us. She uses only force-free training methods, assessing each dogs' needs and championing them. Her advice, guidance and methods is what we really needed! I've bonded more with my dog, we've had much more enjoyable walks since, and we continue to work at home. Kerry has also been an incredible support to me when I doubt myself, encouraging my efforts as a dog owner. She has so much love and care for dogs, it's great to see! We look forward to continue working with Kerry."  - Baiba Plume

"Our experience with Howl School for Dogs was amazing. Kerry has taught me more in 1 hour than all the other trainers & behaviourists we’ve had over 20 years. Kerry helped me understand the needs of our rescue puppy. Behaviours which  I thought were destructive were her way of showing us what she likes to do, for example treats taped inside an egg box, (she loves to shred any kind of box) lick mats, frozen Kongs, letting her dictate what she sniffs On her walk. All of the above has given us a calmer dog. Kerry has taught us to get into her dog world & not expect her to automatically fit in to ours. We have boundaries of course, but they are done with love, kindness and a deeper understanding of dog behaviour. A truly holistic approach which I love. Marnie is still learning about the world around her, allowing her to choose who & what she approaches,  allowing her to explore at her pace not ours. Thank you" - Rebecca Dibbs-Fuller

"Kerry was very patient with my fearful rescue dog and within a few minutes she conquered her (with yummy salmon and loads of positive reinforcement). Since our session with her and following her tricks we have managed to welcome people in our home and made a huge progress! I would completely recommend Kerry for general training and also to help with fearful rescue dogs. Happy dog = happy owner here 😊" - Irene Martin

"My rescue dog Buzz never used to be obsessed by the back door, but then spent a lot of time with a terrier who loved yelping and barking when the back door was open and learned this was a fun thing to do - I would only have to open the drawer where the key was to have him going nuts - so multiple times a day he'd be going bananas in the kitchen - and the sounds he made - SO loud and stressful to hear.  This has resulted in years of me just putting up with something I didn't realise I could do anything about.  Kerry changed all that.  Her simple and effective techniques have meant that in the space of a few days I've got a dog who is calm and contained when I go to the back door.  It seems so obvious now I know what I was doing wrong.  And the changes have been so easy to implement.  I don't hesitate to recommend Howl, and Kerry, to anyone who's wanting to have a better relationship with their dog.  She's particularly tuned to rescue dogs so do give her a try if you want to have a happier dog, and a happier you!" - Jo Butler

"Have just had the most brilliant training session with Kerry. Within 30 minutes, our overly bouncy, easily distracted Wheaten Terrier has stopped jumping up and was coming back every time we called her.Kerry is so knowledgeable, patient and encouraging.  The rationale behind the tasks was explained so clearly, both my daughter and I found it easy to put the plan into action. Having booked the session to try and eradicate some undesirable behaviours, I literally can’t wait until the next class! Thank you Kerry, you’re amazing!" - Dr. Louise Payne

"Science based, professional, force-free and fun dog training. I attended Howl's puppy school for 6 weeks which was an incredible support in the early days of pet guardianship. In a small group we learned force-free, positive reinforcement based techniques as well as socialising our pets. Kerry is a qualified professional, able to share her knowledge in an accessible and fun way. I also engaged Kerry for some at home 1 to 1 sessions for specific behavioural needs. These were well worth the investment and really helped us. I found Kerry through recommendation so I’m keen to pass on my extremely positive experience to others." - Maya Hart

"Kerry is a fantastic trainer, she is warm, kind, understanding and knows her stuff! She has been helping me with my reactive pup, who is mostly scared of traffic, loud noises and strangers. She showed me what I needed to do, the techniques I should use, and helped devise a training plan with clear objectives in mind, which immediately helped me feel better and less overwhelmed about everything. The training is ongoing, and probably will be for a long time (maybe even forever), but I am seeing huge improvements in my pup's behaviour and mental state when he's outside. Kerry is very responsive and she returns messages and calls immediately." - Sophie Smith

"Excellent Service. We have a 17 week old Frenchie, and as first time dog owners we needed a little guidance and thats when we reached out to Kerry. Our first session with Kerry was fantastic. She showed us some really great tips and techniques which I couldn’t believe my eyes. She had our little boy sitting, listening and looking at me (Our baby was only 12 weeks old at the time). She really is like a dog whisperer. Kerry was so accommodating and was always able to fit around us which was so great as it meant my partner could join us and pick up some tips and techniques. Despite it being a Sunday morning Kerry fitted us in. I would highly recommend Kerry and her expertise. Great Service 🐾🐶" - Lindsey Bailey

"I started working with Kerry when my cocker spaniel puppy was around 4 months. Whilst my dog didn't have any huge behavioural issues, I wanted some help to crack the key areas like recall and lead walking before he began to embed the bad habits. And Kerry @ HOWL was brilliant! She was able to fit us in really quickly and has been very flexible about how often and what we trained. I now have a 5 month old puppy who barely pulls on the lead and who's recall is next to perfect. She made the complicated, simple and has helped me train my pup into someone who doesn't cause me to want to pull out my hair. For the amount of work we do, I also thought the pricing to be incredibly reasonable. Couldn't recommend HOWL more highly."

"We took Lulu, our rescue dog, to Kerry as she had a few behavioural issues. We needed only a couple of sessions with Kerry for Lulu to be much more responsive and less inclined to suffer with separation anxiety. Kerry has a wonderful attitude and is great with animals and humans! Highly recommend." - Michael Davies

"I have a 7 month Yorkiepoo and started training with Kerry a couple of weeks ago. Although my puppy doesn't have any behavioural issues I just wanted to embed consistency and adopt an approach that will always work. Kerry has been brilliant with my little puppy and he was able to learn so quickly. We have been practising at home with him and look forward to booking more sessions. After our initial session Kerry sent a detailed follow up with notes which has been super helpful. If you are looking for quality one to one sessions I cant recommend Kerry enough." - Sara Halasz
